近代基督教传入新疆及传教失败的原因探析

鸦片战争后,基督教逐步从中国沿海传播到新疆,这与基督教全球化运动、西方列强对中国的殖民侵略、人口迁徙、新疆特殊的地理位置和暂时安定的社会环境不无关系。然而新疆浓厚的伊斯兰教传统、交通的闭塞、传教士的不光彩角色以及20世纪30年代新疆社会的动荡不安最终导致基督教传教失败。只有综合分析政治、地理和文化等各方面因素,才能对近代基督教传入新疆及传教失败的原因作出合理的解释。

Analysis of the Modern Missionary Christianity was Introduced into Xinjiang and the Failure

After the Opium War,Christianity gradually spread from coast to Xinjiang in China,which is Christian-globalization movement,Western powers in China＇s colonial aggression,migration,special geographical location of Xinjiang and temporary stable social environment is not unrelated.Xinjiang,however,a strong Islamic tradition,traffic blocking,the role of missionaries disgraceful as well as 1930s Xinjiang society turbulent eventually led to Christian missionary failure,only a comprehensive analysis of political,geographic and cultural and other factors,in order to make a reasonable explanation of the modern missionary Christianity was introduced into Xinjiang and their failure.
