妈祖信仰与儒、释、道三教的交融

妈祖信仰是在宋元以降儒、释、道三教的交融及儒、释、道三教与民间信仰充分揉合的背景下形成和发展起来的。在妈祖信仰的发展、演变过程中，儒、释、道三教都竞相对妈祖信仰渗透和施加影响。三教与妈祖信仰这种互相影响、互相渗透的复杂关系，体现了宋代以降三教与民间信仰的互相融合趋势；而妈祖信仰对于儒、释、道三教思想和宗教因素的兼收并蓄，又是三教合一潮流在民间信仰方面的具体反映。

The belief Sea Goddess and the minglement among Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism

The belief in Sea Goddess(Goddess Ma Zu) had been formed around the Song and Yuan dynasties as a result of the minglement among the philosophical or religious sects(Confucian- ism,Buddhism and Taoism) on the one hand and the mixture of these three sects with the folk belief to the full on the other. In the course of evolution and development of the belief in Sea Goddess, each of the three sects tried to make penetration into and exercise influence upon the folk belief. The compli- cated relationship of the interpenetration and reciprocal influence between the three sects and the belief in Sea Goddess embodies their minglement tendency since the Song Dynasty,whereas the absorption of the philosophical thinkings and religious factors of the three sects altogether by the belief in Sea Goddess is a concrete expression of the three -sects-in-one trends in folk belief.
