| 摘 要： | 晚清，先觉者们纷纷引进西方的政治学说来救亡中国，论述新“国民”成为梁启超构建民族国家观的重要途径。“国民”一词盛行之后，“国民之母”的话语也顺应而生。“国民之母”话语让原本严重丧失基本人权的女性转而被圣神化，而话语背后也蕴含了男性启蒙者们强国保种的政治意图以及对女性“母亲”角色的期待。
