学术英语写作里的"学术异议"——对《第二语言写作课堂语法纠正法之辩驳》的章句分析

摘    要:本篇选取《语言学习》(Language Learning)期刊中的《第二语言写作课堂语法纠正法之辩驳》(The Case Against Grammar Correction in L2 Writing Classes)(Truscott,1996)为例采用Bloch(2003)所建议的四步分析法进行章句分析,论述研究型论文的作者们如何使用引证来表达自己对前人文献或他人学术观点的批判性异议。对研究型论文的具体章句分析,将会给接受高等教育的学生和学术界新成员在学术英语(EAP)和特殊目的英语(ESP)写作课堂里提供一个新的学习方法。

Abstract:The paper, by employing the four - stage analysis technique advocated by Block in 2003, gives a textual analysis of "The Case Against Grammar Correction in L2 Writing Classes" (Truscott, 1996) from Language Learning, and expounds how research article writers use citations to express their critical objections to others' academic views. A detailed analysis of research articles will provide a new teaching method to college students and new members of academic community in the EAP and ESP writing classes.
