改写理论下林纾的翻译:以《吟边燕语》为例

林纾是我国近代著名的文学翻译家,其译作数量之多,后人罕有匹敌。然林译小说在为人称赞的同时,却也时常因其大量漏译、误译、删节与改写而为人所诟病。该文拟从改写理论的角度分析林译《吟边燕语》,从而得出林译小说中的有些讹误与超胜有着深刻的社会、政治与文化原因,而并非总是林纾的疏忽大意。
