高文雄笔 取信读者——从切斯特曼翻译规范论看严复译著《天演论》

切斯特曼的翻译规范论涵盖了整个翻译过程所涉及的社会、道德和技术规范,为我们研究特定年代的翻译提供了一个新的视角。本文试图从切斯特曼翻译规范论的角度,对严复译著《天演论》进行解读和阐释。通过分析,文章指出严复在翻译过程中遵循了一定的翻译规范:他不仅遵循了期待规范,能够根据目的语读者的期待选择相应的翻译风格和策略,而且较好地遵循了专业规范,使他的译文收到了取信于读者的效果,从而使他成功地将这本西学著作译介到了中国。

Chesterman's Translation Norms and Yan Fu's Translation of Evolution and Ethics

Chesterman's norm theory covers social,ethical and technical norms involved in the translation process,so this theory will provide us with a new perspective to study the translations of certain eras.
