知识经济与高等学校人才培养

面对知识经济的挑战，高校面临的首要任务是要培养大批高素质、具有创造性的人才。高等学校是培养高级人才的重要基地，要主动适应知识经济对人才培养的要求。坚持社会主义的办学方向，更新观念，坚持厚基础、宽专业、强能力、高素质的人才培养目标。做到大力开展素质教育，培养学生成为“四有”人才；着重培养创新能力，迎接未来科学技术的挑战；建立一支高水平的教师队伍，发挥教师的主导作用；努力创造良好的教育环境，全面实施“科教兴国”战略。

Knowledge Economy and Cultivation of Talents in Colleges and Universities

In the face of challenges presented by knowledge economy, this paper states tha the most important issue is to produce large quantities of creative high-quality talents. Colleges and universities are important bases of cultivating high-level talents and should therefore actively adapt themselves to the requiremnts of talents cultivation presented by knowledge economy. It is necessary to stick to the thought of socialist education, renew traditional ideas and devote major efforts to turning out talens with solid foundation, broad scope of knowledge, strong ability and high qualities. To attain these goals, the following requirements have to be met accourdingly: to make every effort to develop qualities education in search of a new approach to producing adequate talents, to shress the cultivation of creativity to prepare for the coming challenges of science and technology, to build up a high-level contingent of teachers and give full scope to the guiding role of teachers, and to strike to create a favorable environment for education and comprehensively implement the strategies of developing China through science and education.
