对中国近代自由主义思潮的反思

自由主义思潮尽管是西方的舶来品,但受到了中国知识分子的选择与加工,使其影响了中国的近代化历程。英国的费边式自由主义由于对自由主义加以社会主义修正,适应中国知识分子的实际需求,遂成为中国当代自由主义主流。这条社会主义道路符合现代化的发展需要,同时也注意调节变迁中的社会不公正与不平等现象。可惜的是中国历史并未给其足够的实践空间,自由主义道路最终失败了,但其给我们的教训值得反思。

On Reflections on Liberalism in Modern China

Liberalism was introduced into China during the May 4th period,which before the founding of china had considerable influence and development. Despite the West＇s exotic,it had been chosen and processed by Chinese intellectuals,affected the course of China＇s modernization. This road of the socialist was in line with modern needs,paid attention to changes in the regulation of social injustice and inequality. Unfortunately,the history of China has not given it enough practice space,the road of liberalism was ultimately failed,it couldn＇t work in China,but the lessons we have learned and is worthy of research.
