摘    要:隐喻意识是语言学习者对隐喻形式及功能增强的察觉程度和敏感程度。本文借鉴Boers的教学模式并结合教学实践探讨了培养隐喻意识的具体途径,目的就是要使无意识的隐喻习得变成一种有意识的学习活动,以期对英语教学起到积极的促进作用。

Abstract:Metaphor awareness refers to an enhanced consciousness of and sensitivity to the forms and functions of metaphorical language. Based on the teaching mode of Boers and the teaching practice of the author, this paper discusses the specific techniques of how to cultivate students' metaphor awareness with the aim to make the unconscious metaphorical learning process more noticeable so as to facilitate English teaching and learning.
