“注意”对提高二语写作水平的作用——中国大学生英语写作过程研究

以中国大学生英语学习者的二语写作为载体,采用有声思维、作文再形成等方法,通过观察17名受试学生在写作——对比——再写作过程中对语言形式有效的"注意",对"注意"的作用和效果进行定量和定性研究。研究发现,"注意"这一因素在学习者英语写作过程中有着积极的作用,同时还讨论了学习者英语水平的差异对"注意"的影响,其结论可以对二语写作教学乃至二语教学起到一定的指导作用。

Exploring the Role of "Noticing" in EFL Writing in the Chinese College Context

The experimental study aims to explore the role of noticing during the process of L2 writing in the Chinese college context,which includes three major steps: composing,comparing,and re-writing.The research tries to see what kind of improvement occurs after noticing has been stimulated in the process of the three-step writing task.It concludes that noticing plays an important role in the process,helping to raise learners' attention to certain language items and to stimulate cognitive conflict which is believed to promote the learning.In addition,the result has implications on English pedagogy in Chinese colleges.
