Notes on the western science-oriented Marxist structural conception of contradiction

In his structural conception of contradiction,Althusser holds the view that contradiction is the integrity of complicated structures and that the impulse of contradiction is poly-determined.This view is,on the one hand,innovative in terms of mode of thinking and the rationality through which the nature and development direction of the world are understood,it is characterized,on the other hand,by the one-sidedness which distorts the relationship between contradiction and structures and that between the ways for structure analysis and those for contradiction analysis;gears for "the theory of equilibrium" and negates the unity and struggle of opposites as the fundamental impulses to the development of contradiction.
