On the Construction of Moral Principles under the Market Economy

The establishment and continuous improvement of the socialist market economy will inevitably lead to the reflection upon the traditional moral principles. Collectivism does not contradict the market economy though the latter lays stress on individual interest. Yet the following key problems must be well dealt with. It is imperative to understand the true meaning of collectivism under the new historical condition and handle well the unity between morality and profit, justice and efficiency and collective interest and individual interest in adhering to collectivism.
