| Abstract: | On the basis of the study of the English for electricity major,this paper points out the main characteristics of English in this field.Meanwhile it is proposed that for the purpose of accurate translation,a translator needs not only translation principles but also the basic knowledge of the specific major to fully understand the original text. |
