Discussion on Decision-Making Meteorological Safeguard Service of Major Activities

Along with the economic growth and social development, more and more major activities are taken place in China, of which both the scale and quality keep rising. These activities have high degree of pub- lic concern and are easily affected by weather. Therefore the meteorological safeguard service has already been a very important part to hold the major activities successfully. Meanwhile, the activity plans always come from direct demands of decision-makers, which are highly concerned and can＇t be ignored. Combining with the prac- tices to summarize, analyze and discuss the meteorological decision service of national meteorological depart- ments at major activities can improve the quality of meteorological service, show the importance of meteorologi- cal industry, to better serve the government, and to safeguard the major activities.
