试论近代社会转型中云南多民族地区社会风尚变迁的特点

近代中国社会的转型过程是使传统获得现代性的变迁过程,在这一过程中,社会生活的各个领域、各个层面都出现了"千年未有之大变局".云南作为西部边疆的一个多民族地区,伴随着这一转型,其社会风尚的变化呈现出与东部沿海地区有所不同的特点,即:交通条件的改善是近代云南社会风尚变迁的契机和动力;在边地,平民社会风尚多古朴守旧,而少数民族中的土司及贵族则明显表现出双重性趋向;因民族文化的差异而使社会风尚的变化具有文化的双重性及与政治密切相关的历史阶段性.

The Features of the Changes of the Social Customs in the Minority Areas of Yunnan in the Transitional Period of Early Modern China

The transitional period of early modern China is a process that makes the traditional acquire modernity. This process has resulted in dramatic changes in all fields and at all levels of the society. Yunnan is a multi-ethnic province in the borderland of southwest China and has got different features in terms of social customs compared with other provinces along the coastal line of east China. These features find expression in the following: The improved transport was the opportunity and motive force of such social changes; in the borderland, the local people adhered to the old tradition while the Tusi chieftains and the nobility showed their duality; the differences of ethnic cultures rendered the changes of the social customs the cultural duality and the historical traits closely related to politics.
