湘西文化是一种附魅文化 ,保留着较多的原始宗教和自然宗教阶段歌舞祀神的巫风。在价值取向上有其文化小传统的特点。概言之 ,一是天人关系上的见素抱朴 ,自由逍遥 ;二是人神关系上的娱神娱人 ,以人为上 ;三是群己关系上的重情重义 ,游侠霸气 ;四是生死关系上的重生歌死 ,回归自然

On the Value-Orientation of the Local Culture of Western Hunan

The local culture of Western Hunan is fundamentally of a supernatural character.This is expressed in its many primitive and religious songs and dances in the worship of gods and spirits.With regard to its value-orientation ,it has its own traditional characteristics.The spirit of this culture is fully reflected in the following aspects:it advocates a simple and free life with regard to the relationship between man and nature,it values man above everything with regard to the relationship between man and god,it stresses brotherhood and justice with regard to the relationship between oneself and other people,it values life as well as praises death with regard to the relationship between life and death.
