| Abstract: | Norwegian Wood is based on the background of the campaign known as the struggle of students all over Japan,which was originated in 1968.It reflects the depressed and lonely spiritual world of the contemporary youth and indicates the confusion of Japanese youth under multicultural choices in post-industrial society through the life experiences of Zhizi,Luzi,and＂me＂.The theme of this novel is about life and death,sex and love,tradition and modernity. |
