西方马克思主义与中国的现代性问题

由于西方马克思主义跟马克思的历史渊源关系,也由于它们具有的相近的批判性特征,使这种思潮不仅在欧美发达国家盛行,而且也对当代中国产生了不可估量的影响。所以,应当从更广阔的背景上去理解多元状态的西方马克思主义的当代意义。它在当代中国的“嵌入”所产生的矛盾应当从中国现代性运动的特殊性中去理解。由此激活的视角,使跨文化的马克思主义思想传播研究具有了历史性突破的契机。

Western Marxism and Chinese Modernity

Owing to the historical origin of the Western Marxism from Karl Marx, and also to their similar features of criticism, this trend not only prevails in the Western advanced countries, but also inserts an enormous influence on contemporary China. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the contemporary significance of western Marxism in a multiple status quo from a broader context. Its "insertion" into contemporary China produces contradictions which must be understood in the special characteristics of the movement of Chinese modernization. This activated perspective brings a historical breaking moment for the studies of multi-cultural advocating of Marxism.
