论近代中国农民进城对城市社会的影响

本文以农民进城与城市社会的互动关系为视角,揭示农民工对近代中国城市社会影响的某些侧面。认为农民进城有着多方面的正效应:加速城市化进程;提供为资本主义工商业发展所必需的廉价劳动力;人际交往范围的扩大,城市文明的熏陶,使他们的思想、行为等越来越远离传统而具有了“现代性”,而且,作为文化、信息的载体,民工“回流”把城市文明输入农村,给封闭的乡村带来新鲜空气;家族散之四方,给根深蒂固的宗法制度以有力的冲击。但农民进城的负面影响同样不可忽视。

The Impact of Migrant Workers' going to town on Modern Chinese Urban Society

This article, taking the interaction between migrant workers' going to town and urban society as an angle of view, discloses some aspects of the imp act of migrant workers on urban society of modern China. The author believes mig rant workers' going to town has many positive effects. For example, it accelerat es urbanization and offers cheap labor force for the development of the capitali st industry and commerce. With both the expansion of interpersonal association a nd the edification of urban civilization, migrant workers' thought and behavior are gradually far from traditions so as to be of modernity. Moreover, as the car rier of culture and information, migrant workers' return takes urban civilizatio n to the countryside, bringing fresh air to the closed countryside. Kins dispers e to different places, which has a great impact on the patriarchal clan system. However, the negative effects of migrant workers' going to town can not be ignor ed.
