| Abstract: | This paper, through an investigation of the development of contemporary Chinese military literature both in the initial stage(1949-1966) and in the new stage(1978-the present), reflects on its limitations revealed in some fundamental considerations such as ideological refreshment and elimination of drawbacks in order to search for the underlying causes of the loss of spirit in the military literature. |
