唐代“通判之官”释义简

“通判”在唐代并非九品序列之官，是为职官当自五代始。但是在唐代基础文献中，多见“通判之官”一词。故笔者检阅相关资料，对唐代“通判”之义做详细阐释。文章指出其有两种含义：一是动词，即“共同参理，分曹掌事”；二是名词，指“副贰之官”，是佐职的泛称，即所谓“通判之官”是也。笔者以为，唐代的“通判”是动词和名词之义兼用的；南唐时，以水部员外郎充“通判”的例证，表明了其具有了正式职官的特征，是其走向职官的标志性变化；北宋初，便置“通判”一职，并明确了它所应具有的行政、监察之责。

The Paraphrasing of Tongpan in the Tang Dynasty

The word of Tongpan （act as vice governor） in the Tang Dynasty has two meanings. Firstly, it is a verb, and the meaning is managing the government together with the executive. Secondly, it is a noun, which re- fers to vice governor. In Tang Dynasty, it was called ＂the official of Tongpan＂. It was not used to name an official governor then. By paraphrasing the meaning of ＂Tongpan＂ in the Tang Dynasty, and combining the meaning during the Five Dynasties and the northern Song Dynasty, this article aims to comprehensively understand the changing process of ＂Tongpan＂ from non -official governor to official governor.
