| Abstract: | The report of the Leadership System Reform of the Party and State by Deng Xiaoping in 1980 put forward the abolishment of leading cadres' lifelong tenure, and it gradually formed the theory and practice of abolishing leadership cadres' lifelong tenure, which exerted a very important and far-reaching impact on the development of contemporary China. |
