Ethnic and Anthropologic studies in Hang Kong and Taiwan play an important role in the Chinese national Ethnic and Anthropologic research circles. This paper makes a comprehensive account of such topics as the historical division of the ethnic and anthropologic studies in Hang Kong and Taiwan in the second half of the 20th century, social and cultural researches of the Gaoshan and Pingpu minorities, social and cultural researches of the Han nationality in Taiwan, social and cultural researches of the Chinese nation, studies of the overseas Chinese, and nationalized Chinese social science researches.
