淮河流域尚武之风源远流长,武风兴盛延续至今.近百年淮河流域武学兴盛、武林英才不断涌现,武术组织不断健全,武术活动增加,武术竞赛形式多样.淮河流域的尚武风气并未消减.然而近百年的发展表明,传统武术日益冷落,武术文化传承被冷落,武学发展起伏变化.从传承发展地域文化的角度看,淮河文化的传承、发展与创新,不能丢掉其尚武文化这一重要组成部分.

Evolution of Martial Art Tradition in Huai River Basin in the Last Century

Martial art tradition runs a long history in Huai River Basin and continues up to now. In the last century, the tradition is not in decline in the region due to the thriving of martial art, continuous emergence of talents, improvement of organizations, increase of activities and diversification of competitions. However, traditional martial art and the heritance of martial art culture are being ignored, and the development of martial art is undergoing ups and downs. From the view of local culture inheritance and development, to inherit, develop and innovate the Huai River culture, martial art tradition that is one important component of the culture should not be abandoned.
