| Abstract: | The great demand for seals by the Mongolian aristocrats in the Yuan Dynasty leads to the flourishing of seal cutting by intellectuals.The content of the seals,the style of cutting and engraving and the materials used in cutting all experience obvious changes after enthusiastic involvement by the Yuan intellectuals in the field.Finally,seal cutting as a form of artistic creation goes into full fashion in the Yuan Dynasty with Zhu Gui and Wang Mian as the representatives. |
