Character Shaping Narrative Strategies of Red Theme Films and Television Works in the New Period

Instead of direct narration, red movies and TV programs are now adopting new narrative strate- gies and have successfully created a batch of impressive images. Based on the communication studies and the dua! perspective,this paper tries to discuss the narrative strategies that red theme films and television works of the new period are using to shape characters. The discussion led to the conclusion that these works have made a good combination of all the tactics including balanced narrative characterization method, the circumstances - driven - by - characterization method, and the characters under the specific environment collision method to highlight and create vivid three -dimensional and real full characters.
