Social Work Protection for the Best Interest of the Post-Earthquake Dependent Children

Post-earthquake dependent children are likely to be faced with such disastrous troubles as trauma pressure,bereavement mourning and change of custody relationship.Social work should thus fulfill the following tasks: to intervene the replacement of the children’s foster care and help them building a sound custody relationship by taking the children’s best interests as its principle;to properly deal with the population’s PTSD from the disaster by carrying out various psychological interventions;to provide the case management of the children so as to promote their sustainable social adaptation.
