摘    要:王蒙的短篇小说《神鸟》是中国当代文学新感性写作的成功范例,它揭示了现代艺术隐蔽而复杂的新感性之维,表达了王蒙对于现代艺术的他在性处境的理解,表现了现代艺术向原始艺术复归的可能。死亡与复活是王蒙《神鸟》始终牵缠的主题。小说中反复出现的神鸟实际不过是现代都市文明语境下构建的一个象征性的文化图腾,其背后隐藏着王蒙对人生与艺术、世俗与神圣、感性与理性等二元对立关系的思考,表明了艺术在绝境中的希望与生机。
