试论辛亥革命时期对封建文化的批判

辛亥革命的意义体现在思想文化方面 ,是对固有封建文化的批判和对西方资产阶级文化的追求。封建文化的重要组成部分是家族制度、宗法制度、伦理纲常。辛亥革命者对封建文化的批判围绕上述几个方面展开。但革命者并未对传统文化全盘否定。其意义是开创了五四新文化运动彻底批判封建文化的先声。

A Trial Comment on the Criticism of the Feudal Culture Made during the Revolution of 1911

The significance of the Revolution of 1911, in terms of ideology and culture, is manifested in the criticism of the inherent feudal culture and the pursuit of western bourgeois culture. The important components of the feudal culture are the clan system, the patriarchal clan system, and the ethics and cardinal guides and constant virtues. The Revolutionaries of 1911 made criticisms of the above mentioned aspects. But they did not completely repudiate the traditional culture. The significance is that they opened up the prospect of the May 4th Movement which thoroughly criticized the feudal culture.
