The Daily Life of Taiwan Indigenous Women in Qing Dynasty

The society and economy of Taiwan in Qing Dynasty would not successfully develop without active involvement of indigenous women.Indigenous women played important roles in daily life.They were not only the holders of farming and weaving but also the participators of public social activities.Therefore,they enjoyed quite a lot freedom and right in marital family life.Their intermarriage with Mandarin immigrants speeded up the integration among different groups and facilitated the social development of Taiwan.
