《玉茗堂批订董西厢》为汤显祖作考论

徐朔方先生认为《玉茗堂批订董西厢》系伪托,其主要证据是屠隆在万历二十三年春天没有到过遂昌,而时间署为“乙末上巳日”的《玉茗堂批订董西厢》序中提到“适长卿访余署中”。其实汤显祖的两首赠诗证明了屠隆在春天有过遂昌之游,其他资料也说明了序文的真实性。事实上,汤显祖与屠隆在遂昌对《董西厢》的讨论及批订,是汤显祖创作《牡丹亭》前一次极有意义的艺术酝酿。

Textual Criticism of the Author of Yu Ming Tang Comments and Amends Dong Xi Xiang

Mr.Xu Shufang thought Yu Ming Tang Comments and Amends Dong Xi Xiang was a fake.His main proof was Tulong had never been to Suichang during the spring in the Wanli 23.But the foreword written in Yimoshangsi pointed out that "at that time,Changqin came to my office."The author of this article believed that the two poems of Tang Xianzu proved Tulong had been to Suichang during the spring.And other materials have been cited by the author to testify the truth in the foreword.The author also proposed that Tang Xianzu and Tulong discussed and amended the Dong Xi Xiang together in Suichang,which is a significant art brewed for Tang Xianzu to write Mu Dan Ting.
