The idea that market exchange system constitutes the economic basis of existence alienation is one of the main thoughts of economic philosophy of Marxism.From perspective of Western Marxism,market exchange system has transformed from guaranteeing freedom to a mechanism used as a tool for enslaving.As a result,unlike the critic remarks made by Marx himself on capitalist ownership,Western Marxism directly criticizes market exchange relation.This method overgeneralizes the criticized objects on the one hand,and indicates the fact that market economy internally negates freedom on the other.
