基于语篇的“把”字句话题研究

“把”字句是汉语语法界的传统课题之一。近年来，人们除了继续发掘其语法及语义特征以外，开始逐渐关注其在语篇中的作用。本文试图利用Givón1]提出的测量话题延续性的一套方法来调查研究“把”字句中的话题在语篇中的延续情况。通过定量分析，研究发现:“把”字句的主语最可能成为语篇中的重要话题，而“把”后宾语不及主语活跃，是语篇中一个较为次要的话题；“把”后宾语一般是有定的成分，当它为无定时，它成为语篇话题的可能性较小；虽然“把”字句宾语后面的成分也可以为语篇提供话题，但是它一般不是语篇中的重要话题。 

A Discourse-based Study of the Topics in the Ba-construction

The Ba-construction is one of the most discussed topics in Chinese linguistics. In recent years, apart from its gram-matical and semantic features, its textual function is getting more and more attention. This paper, by applying a set of measure-ments of topic continuity proposed by Givón ( 1983) , tries to make clear how the topics of the Ba-construction behave in dis-course. Through quantitative analysis, the following findings are made:the subject of the Ba-construction is most likely to be-come an important topic in discourse, whereas the object of Ba, being less active in discourse, is normally a secondary one;the object of Ba tends to be definite, and it is less likely to function as topic when it is indefinite;other nominal elements after the object in the Ba-construction are barely important as topic in discourse, although they could also function as one in some cases.
