| 摘 要： | 本文着重对张恨水长篇小说《现代青年》的思想内容和艺术特色进行简要的评析，并指出其主要价值在于对儒家道德的历史重估。儒家思想既有精华，也有糟粕；既是华夏民族的凝聚力和粘合剂，也是捆缚华夏民族的绳索。今天的任务，不是简单地肯定或否定，而是去芜存精，进行脱胎换骨的改造，为当前的现代化服务。

| Abstract: | In this paper, emphasis is laid on an analytical commentary on the ideological content and artistic chatacteristics of Zhang Henshui's fulllength novel entitled Modern Youth, and it is pointed out that the genume value of the novel consists in the historical reappraisal of Confucianist ethics. As things stand, Confucianism has in it both dross and essential, and is a binding agent with cohesive force for the Chinese Nation, but at the same time it is also a chain that fetters her initiative. Accordingly, our task today is not to affirm or negate it oversimply. Rather, we should change it thoroughly by discarding its dross and retaining its essential in the service of our modernization at the present day. |
