Huguenots Immigration from France to Britain in the Early Modern Times and their Influence

After the Religion Reformation in Europe in the sixteenth century,French government that protected Roman Catholicism unceasingly suppressed the Huguenots.The Huguenots had to leave their motherland and became refugees.Most of them had immigrated to Britain.The Huguenots immigrants obtained a peaceful life there,and contributed to the economic and social development of Britain.In other words,Huguenots immigrants have played an important role in the rising of Britain in early modern times.
