摘    要:都市报是指以城市居民为主要读者对象的综合类或文化、经济、生活类报纸。它是报业竞争的直接产物。它的诞生,改善了我国的报业结构、加速了我国报业走向市场的步伐。在市场化运作中,都市报注重读者需求与办报质量,广开发行渠道,培育了读者市场,开拓了广告市场,完善了发行市场。其成功的运作模式,为我国报业的市场化发展提供了借鉴。

Abstract:Urban newspapers refer to general newspapers or those culture, economy and livelihood oriented papers. Urban newspapers have arisen from the competition among the newspaper industry, and their emergence has improved the mechanism of the newspapers in China and made the newspaper industry move further to the market. In the process urban newspapers have attached great importance to the needs of the readers and to the quality of the papers, tapped all channels for distribution, nurtured the reading public, and opened up a market for commercials. Their success can be used for reference by China's newspaper industry on its way to the market.
