The Roots of "Anti-globalization" Among the Disadvantage Groups of Western Countries

The trend of anti globalization, with the rapidly developing globalization, occurred in the last decade of the 20th century; it had a great impact on world economy and politics. To our surprise, in this course, the major benefits were gained by western countries, while the major battlefields emerged from these countries. The main groups against globalization, in fact, were disadvantage groups, who fear to lose their jobs, their welfare and benefit during the globalization. Thus, unemployment, diminution in public welfare, growing dichotomy between the rich and the poor, etc.--all these is the direct causes of anti globalization, and essentially, the root lies in over expanded private monopoly capital.
