试论北宋中后期文化重心的特色

北宋中期，是北方文化兴盛的高峰、南方文化快速发展的时期；北宋后期，则是北方文化重心地位下降、南方文化重心优势不断加强的时期。从文化要素的发展状况分析，北宋中后期的文化重心主要有儒学重心位于北方、南方政治人才不断增多、文学和教育重心在南方等特色。

On Features of Cultural Centers during Mid and Late Northern Song Dynasty

While the mid Northern Song dynasty was a period during which culture thrived in north China and rose rapidly in the south, the last years of the dynasty witnessed a polarization of the two： the north was losing its cultural prestige whereas the south became more and more important. An analysis of the development of various cultural elements in the period shows that, while the north was still the center of Confucianism, most of the elites in politics, literature and education were in the south.
