全球化进程中，许多西方民族国家在进行经济政治交往中，强行推行自己的文化价值观念。希望用本民族的文化与文明统一全球，从而形成文化同一性。但是，历史事实证明文化的同一性不能形成，推行文化同一的国家和民族在历史中的结局也并没有实现文化的真正同一，反而激起了更大变化的多元和差异性。因此，我们应该认识到，全球化进程中文化多样性和文化融合是一种趋势，也是现今人类解决“文化困境”的一种方法。
