There are many complex causes of the constant conflicts between Palestine and Israel. The distrust between the two sides based on opposition and estrangement is the major psychological basis of the conflicts. The activeness of the tough forces on the two sides are the direct cause of the continuation of the conflicts. After the Sept. 11 Attacks, the international anti-terrorism situation in some way encourages the mutual revenges. The intervention by such countries as the U.S. fail to put a halt to these conflicts because of too many compromises. All these factors together lead to the continuation of the conflicts.
