| 摘 要： | 《了不起的盖茨比》这部小说中两个主要女性黛西与乔丹只关注“人生姿态”。她们感情冷漠，只关心自己的魅力，然而忽略了人生的品质。对黛西与乔丹“人生姿态”的分析中可以探究菲茨·杰拉德对美国女性的矛盾态度：他对女人既有极其浪漫的“崇拜”，同时又怀有极深的不信任感。

| Abstract: | Two major females in the novel The Great Gatsby,Daisy and Jordan,only pay attention to"life gestures".They are emotionally frigid and just care for their own charms,and yet neglect the quality of living. Fitzgerald's contradictory attitude toward American women can be probed form his analysis of the"life gestures"of Daisy and Jordan:he combines an extreme romantic"worship"of them with an equally extreme distrust of them. |
