| 摘 要： | 英语习语是承载着英语民族文化特色和文化信息的固定表达方式.英语习语中的文化因素是翻译中的难点.要准确翻译英语习语,应忠实表达原文的意义,即忠实表达原文的字面意义、形象意义和隐含意义三个方面.在翻译的方法上,可采用直译法、汉语习语套用改造法和意译法等.

| Abstract: | Idioms and culture are closely connected . Different idioms reflect different local or national flavors. Thus the cultural components of English idioms have become difficulties in rendering English idioms into Chinese. In light of this situation, it is essential to pay full attention to cultural differences between English and Chinese in idioms translating. The best methods for translation should be chosen according to concrete conditions. |
