| Abstract: | The popularity of living in seclusion led to the close relationship between scholars and hermits in the Tang Dynasty which was reflected in poetry of the Tang Dynasty.The reasons for this distinctive clutural phenomenon are:Scholars' respect for hermits' great learning and moral quality and scholars' admiration for peaceful idyllic life. |
