| Abstract: | Shan--Gu Ci（meaning mountain--valley poems literally in Chinese） is aesthetically characterized by a mixture of contrastive features： elegant and earthly, plain and exuberant, and rigid and flexible. Elegance of Shan--Gu Ci could be found in the choice of words, emotion between lines. Earthliness of Shan--Gu Ci refers to the contents and topics. |
