基于功能分离UTRAN体系的比较分析

摘    要:本文以提高现有R99/R4/R5/R6版本UTRAN结构的无线性能和传输层利用率为基础,介绍了基于分离RNC控制面和用户面的UTRAN体系结构的演进策略,旨在分析这种新的UTRAN体系结构为系统性能、系统部署和无线接口带来的潜在优势和不利影响,对UTRAN体系的演进提供合理的方案选择。

Abstract:Due to the demand for improvement in radio performance and transport layer utilization of current R99/R4/R5/R6 UTRAN, the paper presents a different proposal for UTRAN architecture evolution: evolved architecture based on function separation. The study is aimed at analyzing and comparing their potential benefits and drawbacks for the system performance, deployment and radio interface evolution, so as to gather all information for the solutions and to draw a conclusion on the way of UTRAN architecture evolution forward.
