现代西方文明协调发展论是对资本主义文明发展及其所产生的一系列问题进行理论反思的成果。其主要内容:协调发展的文明系统论,揭示了文明的协调发展实质,指出文明是包含经济、政治的文化等因素的相互协调的整体系统;世界历史的文明统一体论,表明世界文明是多元发展、相互交流及具有统一性的整体;社会危机的文明批判论,揭示了现代社会危机的实质是文明的失调与对抗,指出摆脱危机的出路在于协调发展。

A Tentative Idea on the Theory of Coordinated Development of Modern Western Civilization

The theory of coordinated development of civilization is the result that the modern western scholars self-examine the development of capitalism civilization and a series of problems within it,whose main content is as follows: firstly,the theory of coordinated development of civilization system shows the essentiallity of coordinated development of civilization and points out that civilization is a whole system including economy,politics and culture,and the merging of them;secondly,the view of civilization unity in world history appears that the world civilization is an entity with diversification and exchange;thirdly,the critique theory of crisis reveals that the essentiality of modern society crisis is imbalance,and confrontation of civilization points out that coordinated development is the best way to break away from crisis.
