| Abstract: | Nominalization is a very common phenomenon in English,and it is one major feature of the formal writings.This paper tries to employ some typical examples to discuss and conclude the function and defect of nominalization in discourse in the hope of enriching the understanding of nominalization and employing the structure in a better way. |
