From Liang Qichao to Bai Shouyi--the Academic Genealogy of History of Chinese Historiography

As a modern subject, History of Chinese Historiography has experienced for nearly a century. Liang Qichao and Bai Shouyi are most representative scholars who stand for the former period and the latter period successively. This essay combs out the academic relations of the subject, involving many scholars such as Zhu Xizu ,Li Dazhao,He Bingsong ,Liu Yizheng,Meng Wentong and so on, makes a comparison between the two periods, points out some commons and differences, describes their connections.
