T.V.Soong was a major decision maker and executor of diplomatic affairs during the War of Resistance against Japan.About American aid,he had his own diplomatic ideas which were permeated with fairly strong nationalist consciousness,and were specified in four respects: China is entitled to American aid,the American government should aid China;Chinese resistance against Japanese invasion should be based on self-reliance while China should try her outmost to obtain American aid.
