论晚唐科举与落第士子的心态——以《北梦琐言》为例

<北梦琐言>是唐五代继<唐摭言>之后较多记述唐代科举制度及其遗闻逸事、文士风习的笔记小说,虽说没有<唐摭言>全面,但它为研究晚唐科举之弊端(干谒权贵、请托受贿、以诗为砖、抄袭代作)和落第士子的心态(对朝廷的不满与怨愤、寻机报复朝中达贵、走向朝廷对立面)提供了许多珍贵资料,因此亦显得尤为重要.

On the Imperial Examinations in the Late Tang Dynasty and the Psychology of Scholars who Failed in Imperial Examinations--Taking the Book Bei Meng Suo Yan as an Example

Following the book Tang Zhi Yan, Another book Bei Meng Suo Yan introduces a lot about the imperial examination system with anecdotes as well as writing styles of scholars in the Tang Dynasty which is of great importance to the present researches on the disadvantages of the imperial examinations in the Tang Dynasty (such as involvement of influencial officials in the examinations,bribery, taking poems as a stepping-stone to success, plagiarism and substitution) and psychology of scholars who failed in the imperial examinations (such as their dissatisfaction and indignation against the imperial government, their desire to retaliate against the influencial officials in the royal government and their rebellion against the royal government).
